Song of the Day: Halftime

Happy Friday and you know what that means…The Sports Chief is coming at you with another great song to kick start your weekend! So…Garett has already started something…picking video game songs that have made an impression on us in one way or another. I may have said this before, but a lot of my musical knowledge comes from playing video games, whether it be waiting on the menu screen to select the game modes that I was, or anxiously waiting for the loading screen to end before the action starts. Today’s song comes off of NFL Street 2 and is by the Ying Yang Twins entitled, “Halftime”. Straight out of the ATL…these crunk stars were the perfect fit for NFL Street 2. Between NFL Street and NFL Street 2…Yacs, Randy and myself had some INTENSE battles haha! I feel like we could’ve taken down anybody on this game. This was a very difficult decision because there are a few great ones on this soundtrack, and I’ll post that as well. If I had Aeneas Williams on my squad…it was game over!
