Best Bets of the Day (March 26th)

After an abysmal Sunday, we cashed in last night. After not winning a single bet on Sunday, the tides turned in the next day of action and we won all the bets including the 3-leg parlay. Honestly, none of the games were ever in doubt. The Cavs beat the hometown Hornets by 23. The Pacers ended up beating the Clippers on the road. It kinda sucks that I didn’t go with the ML for that because the payout would’ve been much better, but it’s too late now. Also, the LA Kings were in firm control of the game the whole time against the Canucks. Again, if I bet ML on that, the payout would’ve been great, but that’s OK. A win is a win. Today, I have 4 bets for you instead of the usual 3. The 4-bet parlay is going to be great odds and I think we have another good shot of hitting tonight. It is a little riskier play than yesterday, but you can mix and match these bets and still have a great 3-bet parlay with any of these, I feel like. With all of that being said, let’s get into it! I have two great NBA and NHL bets each for you

AP

-       NBA Regular Season

Miami Heat (ML) (+110) vs. Golden State Warriors

New Orleans Pelicans (ML) (-105) vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

Ok, so these two games are a bit on the risky side, but I definitely don’t think they’re that risky in all honesty. Both teams are underdogs tonight, but they’re playing at home and they’re both capable of getting wins tonight. The Heat are a stout team, but the only thing that concerns me with them is their depth. They’re a little banged up on the bench. I don’t think it will be a big issue though. The Heat play well at home and the Warriors are the Golden State Warriors of old. If you don’t feel confident in a ML victory for the Heat, they’re giving them a 2-point cushion.

The Pelicans will have their hands full with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander tonight, but I think they’re up to the task. The Thunder won their last matchup by 24 points in New Orleans back in January, but the Pels were without Zion. This time, he is playing and should be a menace tonight. They are going to be missing Brandon Ingram tonight, though. Even though Ingram will be absent, I still think they can get the job done. New Orleans plays well in front of a home crowd and of their last 11 games, they have been winners in 9 of them. After being on the road for most of March, the Pelicans will look to kick off their 6-game homestand with a big win against a big Western Conference foe.

-       NHL Regular Season

Toronto Maple Leafs (-1.5) (+164) vs. New Jersey Devils

Colorado Avalanche (-1.5) (-166) vs. Montreal Canadiens

The Leafs are playing on home ice against a team that is hanging on by a thread to make it into the playoffs. This seems like a no-brainer to me. However, I have had terrible luck with the Devils, either picking them or picking against them. Hopefully, that luck changes in my favor tonight. The Maple Leafs are expected to have Mitch Marner back on the ice tonight and that will be a tremendous help for them. It appears that Joseph Woll will be in front of the net tonight for Toronto and while he hasn’t been awesome in the last month, the Leafs faced some tough competition in the last month. Jake Allen will guard the crease for the Devils. He has been solid in his 5 starts with the Devils, but his last one was a not so stellar performance against Ottawa. I really like Auston Matthews to notch a couple goals tonight to reach 60 on the season. On DraftKings, you can’t bet on multi-goals for anyone, but I think a +120 Over 1.5 Points for Matthews will do the trick.

The Avs are my safety blanket. I feel like they hit every time that I pick them. They are in a great position to have another big win tonight. They’re far and away the best team on home ice in the NHL and they have won 9 straight? Take my money, please. Sam Montembeault has been an average, at best, goalie this year and he is projected to start for Montreal. The Avs will have Justus Annunen, who has been great so far in his limited starts. The Avalanche will look to win their 10th straight game in front of a home crowd and I think they can do it. They are also in a tight 7-team race for the Presidents’ Trophy. The Habs are currently the next team in line to be eliminated from playoff contention. I don’t think this is too much of a thinker tonight. The Avs should win by the puck line easily.

Heat (ML); Pelicans (ML); Maple Leafs (-1.5); Avalanche (-1.5)

4-Bet Parlay: +1634

This is a massive 4-Bet parlay, but if you aren't feeling quite this lucky tonight, you can take away the Maple Leafs puck line victory and make it a +556 3-bet parlay. Either way, I think they’re both great options. I have much more confidence in the NHL picks than the NBA ones, but I do like the NBA picks as well. I especially like the fact that each of these picks are all home teams. They’re all solid teams and I think they can all win tonight. As always, please gamble responsibly and remember have fun.
