Best Bets of the Day (March 25th)

I would rather not talk about yesterday’s bets. It was a rough day. However, today is a new day and I have a couple NBA and an NHL pick for you today. Hopefully, things will go better than they did yesterday. It was my first full blank parlay. JMU got demolished, Austin Cindric was competitive all day, but ended up just inside the Top 20, and the Lightning won, but were forced to OT by the Ducks, where they picked up a win, but didn’t hit on the puck line. Today is a new day for betting and I think I have some good ones for you.

-       NBA Regular Season

Cleveland Cavaliers (-12.5) (-110) vs. Charlotte Hornets

Indiana Pacers (+6.5) (-110) vs. Los Angeles Clippers

It pains me to pick against the Charlotte Hornets, but they are so bad. Cleveland is a dark horse contender in the East and the Hornets are playing for a draft pick. The Hornets are also a terrible team ATS. Not really a shocker there, but they’re even worse against the spread on the road. 12.5 points is a heavy margin, but I think the Cavs cover easily. The only concern is that the Cavs have some injuries issues on their bench, but I don’t think it is a big enough issue as the Hornets have much worse injury issues. The Hornets are outmatched at nearly every position. Caris LeVert has a O/U of 15.5 points tonight. Even odds for the Over.

As for the Pacers, they will have a tough matchup against the Clippers on the road, but they’re a team that can hang with anyone. Also, the Clippers aren't a good team ATS. The Pacers are solid ATS. Both teams are playing on no rest, so there is no advantage there. The Clippers have struggled against quality opponents over the last month or so. The Pacers have been stepping up against quality opponents as of late. I like the Pacers to keep things within 6 points tonight and I honestly wouldn't be shocked if they get a win tonight.

-       NHL Regular Season

Los Angeles Kings (+1.5) (-230) vs. Vancouver Canucks

The Kings have goalie advantage in this game. Cam Talbot vs. Casey DeSmith. I would be a bit leery of picking the Kings if Demko were healthy for Vancouver, but he isn't. Talbot should have a great night tonight. The Canucks are a little better on the attack, but I think the Kings make up for it with a better defense. Adrian Kempe has been on fire as of late. He has 7 points in his last 3 games and is currently -145 to get at least a point tonight. His teammate Anze Kopitar has the same amount of points in as many games and is currently -125 to get at least a point tonight. Pretty good odds for some player props. Expect this one to be pretty close.

Cleveland Cavaliers -12.5; Indiana Pacers +6.5; LA Kings +1.5

3-Bet Parlay: +422

These odds aren't too high tonight, but I want to play things a little safe tonight. I think this has a good shot of hitting, but I guess we shall find out. Good luck tonight and please gamble responsibly.
