AEW Power Rankings: Week of July 22nd 2020

Another week of AEW, and this week was decent. We got to see some new faces on Dynamite this week and we’ll see if that continues to be a theme. They beat NXT again this week and it was by a pretty decent margin as well. It’s going to be a short article today, so here are this week’s rankings.

5: Hangman Page

Page picked up a nice singles win against 5 this week. Things are starting to get interesting between FTR and The Elite.

4: MJF

MJF defeated Griff Garrison this week and continues his successful run as AEW’s top rising star.

3: The Young Bucks

The Bucks had a match this week against The Butcher and The Blade this week. It wasn’t as good as it could’ve been, but there were great spots and The Bucks picked up the win in the Falls Count Anywhere contest.

2: Cody

Cody successfully defended his TNT tile against Eddie Kingston this week in the opener. It was an exciting no-DQ match. As far as I know, Kingston isn’t signed to AEW, but it was good to see him on TV Wednesday night.

1: The Inner Circle

Only Jericho and Hager competed this week, but they ended the show and Sammy Guevara returned on Wednesday night also. Jericho and Hager defeated Jurassic Express in the main event.
