Song of the Day: Old Man

Sing-A-Long Old man look at my life, I'm a lot like you were. Old man look at my life, I'm a lot like you were. Old man look at my life, Twenty four and ther...

Old Man being performed live by Neil Young. This solo acoustic set was from 1971 for the British Broadcasting Corporation’s television concert. Very reminiscent of the early 90’s MTV Unplugged. Craziest part is in 1971 Neil Young was only 26 years old and had already been part of two successful bands in Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, and was about to shortly be releasing his 4th individual studio album. That album was Harvest, which is the album that this song appears, and it would also go on to be the best selling album for 1972. Again, all by the age of 26. Impressive indeed.
