Can’t You See by The Marshall Tuckrer Band. Hailing from Spartanburg, SC, The Marshall Tucker Band busted onto the southern rock scene in 1973 with their self-titled album that featured this hit song. Granted I might should be cautious when I say hit because believe it not this song only peaked at 75 on the US Billboard Top 100. For as good as a song as this is and for as many times as this song has been covered from Waylon Jennings to the Zac Brown Band and Kid Rock, it’s hard to believe this song only made it to 75 on the charts. It’s that a testament to how much better the music was in the 70’s or has this song just grown more popular as it’s aged?
