Song of the Day: At the Hop
We’re going back to the 1950s today with “At the Hop” by Danny and the Juniors. Released in 1957, it became immensely popular and is one of the more popular songs of the decade. It reached #1 on the US charts and #3 on the UK charts, on its way to becoming one of the top selling singles of 1958. This song is also featured in the movie American Graffiti, which is a great movie, and inspired Richard Linklater to later direct Dazed and Confused.
