Video Game Review: Call of Duty Mobile

Call of Duty Mobile

2019

Call of Duty is a first person shooter video game franchise first published by activision in 2003.

On October 1st 2019 Call of Duty was released prior to the anticipated Modern Warfare game. Upon its announcement I had very low expectations since mobile gaming, outside of some racing games and time wasters candy crush, have never peaked my interest.  I prefer to play console, but with my schedule I did not have a lot of time to sit down and play games like I wanted.

While at work I decided to download COD mobile and give it a try since I had free time during my lunch hour. After downloading the game and playing my first mobile version of TDM (team death match) I was very impressed. The device I used was the IPhone Xs Max and with the screen real-estate of the device I was able to play very comfortably.

With the addition of fan favorite maps like Nuketown and Firing range couple with live multiplayer game play the mobile app took off. As the game develops new maps and game modes are added such as zombies, Stix and stones, one in the chamber, and more! My personal favorite outside of TDM is search and destroy. The mobile version of this game gives gamers the ability to enjoy full matches on the go regardless of their surroundings. Whether you are at work and have a fifteen minute break or if you are riding in a car, you can now enjoy the amenities most consoles provide on your mobile devices.

The mobile gaming industry is constantly developing. Since the amount of technology in mobile devices, these games are allowed to be played in unimaginable ways.

Check out a video of a search and destroy game I played mobile when I had a quick 10 minute break at work.

Fun with Cod Mobile on a lunch break !
