NBA DraftKings Tips for 12/12/18
Today’s slate consists of 11 games and is full of high over/under totals. In the last article, I failed to win in tournaments, but we were victorious in a double-up. Luke Kennard was a home-run pick…however Goran Dragic was not, he was injured and cost us the win.
Russell Westbrook ($10,900) is a must pick tonight. The Thunder play the Pelicans, and the over/under is at 234.5. Let’s hope Russell gets his fourth straight triple-double. Julius Randle is not a bad choice either at $7,400. The Pelicans use Randle in great volume, allowing spacing on the floor for Davis and Holliday.
Luka Doncic ($7,300) is bound for a career game against the Hawks tonight. He will be playing at home, and facing an Atlanta team that ranks 30th in points allowed…118.2 to be exact. Plus, there is no way Kevin Huerter or anyone on that team will be slowing down Luka.
I will also be going with Luke Kennard again. His price is $3,500 and if he can get 42.5 again…this is the best choice of the night. He is starting, and should be inserted everywhere…I hate to say it, but I called this before it happened. Speaking of a former Duke alum…I am also going with JJ Redick ($5,300). Jimmy Butler is not playing, and the Nets are “middle of the road” defensively, ranking 17th in points allowed.
The Knicks are notorious for giving up tons of points, so I am choosing a couple of Cavs. Alec Burks at $4,800 and Collin Sexton at $5,100 will wreak havoc on the dysfunctional Knicks. Emmanuel Mudiay is terrible defensively and the Knicks in general allow opponents to shoot 37% from 3-point range, which ranks 28th in the league.
