4 Seconds On The Clock...Who taking the shot?
Let's see who you're taking in this situation. Game on the line, down by 3 with 4 seconds left on the clock. Your team is inbounding the ball from the half court who is your go-to player? Steph Curry, Lebron James, Kevin Durant, "Prime" Kobe Bryant, "Prime" Larry Bird, "Prime" Steve Kerr, "Prime" Tracy Mcgrady, "Nuggets" Melo, or "Prime Allen Iverson? There is no particular reason I chose these players. I just listed some of the top scores/shooters that came to mind from different eras less Jordan...
If I'm going to pick, I am going with "Prime" Larry Bird. That man was a sharpshooter before his back injuries set in. Bird was such a dynamic shooter Pat Riley stated "If I had to choose a player to take a shot to save a game I'd choose Michael Jordan; If I had to choose a player to take a shot to save my life...I'd take Larry Bird."
The NBA is full of talented players, but in my opinion, the talent has fallen off. It could just be the way the game is changing, or it could be that a lot of players are being drafted that are not ready to compete at that level. Regardless of the reason, I enjoying watching classic replays sometimes better than live games today. If you would choose another player to take the final shot who would it be? It doesn't have to be anyone I listed above, I'm just curious. Leave an explanation to why you chose that player too!
