Best Bets of the Day (March 20th)

I was so close to a monster 3-bet parlay win yesterday. It hurts. The over in the Howard/Wagner and the Canes puck line had no issues. It was left for the Canucks to beat the Sabres by 2 or more. Well, they won, but only by one goal… Sadly, a one goal victory doesn’t put cash in our pockets. Close, but no cigar… I had another 4-bet Parlay with only NHL games and the Canucks was the only one to ruin that one as well. I guess they don’t call it gambling for no reason. Today, we are going a bit safer on the Best Bets today. I have a healthy mix First Four action, NBA, and NHL. Hopefully I have a winner for you today. We’ve been so close lately on a couple of these.

Boston Celtics (-11) (-108) vs. Milwaukee Bucks

On the surface, this seems totally risky, but in all honesty, it isn't. The Bucks are without Giannis Antetokounmpo tonight and they obviously will miss him in their lineup. They face the powerhouse of the East tonight on the road without their superstar leader. Boston is the only team in the NBA to have already clinched a playoff berth. They’re 10 games up on the Bucks and lead the whole NBA by 6.5 games. The Bucks have only been without Antetokounmpo 4 times. They’re 3-1 without him, but looking at those wins, two of them were on the road and the other win was against the Raptors. The one loss was a 40-point game against the Cavs in Cleveland. I think tonight’s game is going to be a lot like the latter.

-       NHL Regular Season

Dallas Stars (-1.5) (-110) vs. Arizona Coyotes

The Stars are doing their best to keep climbing the standings in the Western Conference and the Coyotes are seemingly heading in the opposite directions at this point of the season. The Coyotes have picked up some wins against the struggling Red Wings and Devils recently, but the odds are totally stacked against them tonight against the Stars. The Coyotes aren't eliminated from playoff contention yet, but they’re next in line in the West. I think tonight will be one step closer to that. Wyatt Johnston has goals in 4 straight. If you think he’ll go 5 in a row, it is +175 to bet.

-       NCAA Tournament First Four

Colorado (ML) (-148) vs. Boise State

Colorado are 3.5-point favorites tonight against the Broncos of Boise State and while I think it is very possible that they will win by at least 4, I will play it safe and bet the ML. Colorado is a more efficient offensive team, that is why I think they will win. To be fair, both teams are very evenly matched. Their net rank is 25 and 26. Both have decent records against ranked opponents. It should be a great game tonight. With that being said. Boise State has never won a tournament game. They’re 0-9 in the program’s history. This will be their 5thappearance under Leon Rice and in the last 4 tourney games, the margin of loss is 7. Give me Colorado to win tonight, just to be safe. Also, a player to watch in this one will be Cody Williams for the Buffaloes. He is a projected Top 5 pick this year and is even going as high as number 1 in some mocks.

BOS Celtics (-11); DAL Stars (-1.5); Colorado (ML)

3-Bet Parlay: (+516)

This parlay won’t make you rich, but it is a nice, safe 3-bet choice. I really like the first two and I think the Colorado win is a hit as well, so it should be a safe parlay for you tonight. Let’s hope it hits. Please gamble responsibly and have fun!
