NFL Top 10 Power Ranking (After Week 2)

10. Seattle Seahawks (1-1)

The Seahawks disappointed in Week 1, but bounced back with a good win over the Lions.  The Lions would get the 11th spot on this list, but I couldn’t put them over the Seahawks with Sunday’s results.  Seattle is just going to be a “wild card” all season.  One week they’ll look great and the next they’ll be awful.

9. Los Angeles Rams (1-1)

With a lot of turnover for the Rams, I didn’t think they would be too good this year.  But it looks like they aren’t ready to go anywhere anytime soon.  They looked great against Seattle and held tough with the might San Fran.  As long as Stafford is still slinging it, they are going to be capable.

8. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-1)

The Jags are a solid team and will be back in the playoffs this year.  They just couldn’t quite get it going against the Chiefs.  But most teams can’t do that.

7. Buffalo Bills (1-1)

After a disappointing loss to the Zach Wilson-led Jets, the Bills rebounded in a big way hanging 38 on the Raiders.  But I don’t know, the eye test tells me the Bills aren’t as good this year as they have been.  We’ll have to watch more games to find out.

6. Kansas City Chiefs (1-1)

Kelce is back.  Jones is back.  The Chiefs don’t feel alllll the way back yet, but just wait.  It will be here before we know it.

5. Baltimore Ravens (2-0)

Baltimore has looked pretty good so far.  Them and the Chiefs could be switched around, but hey, it’s just week two.  They are both good teams.

4. Philadelphia Eagles (2-0)

Enter last year’s Super Bowl runner up.  2-0 on the season with a win over a Patriots team who is better than most people give them credit for, and the Vikings who are strong.  Philly is just getting better.

3. Miami Dolphins (2-0)

Miami is very, very good this year and can score with the best of them.  I expect them to win a lot of games this season if they can stay healthy.

2. Dallas Cowboys (2-0)

So far this team has made a statement.  It’s almost like they are tired of never meeting expectations placed on them year after year, and are taking it out on teams in the first two weeks.  Only time will tell if they’ll be this good in January.

1. San Francisco 49ers (2-0)

Yep, if you have been following the NFL then you would have guessed it.  These guys are flat out awesome right now and are the Super Bowl favorites.
