Song of the Day: Fast Car (Luke Combs)

Happy Monday everyone! I’m posting a cover for today’s song of the day and what a popular cover it has become recently. Luke Combs covered Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car” a few years ago sitting in his house (I want to say it was during Covid times) and it was downloaded so many times since it was posted that Luke and his team decided it would be a good idea to actually record it. I have always loved this song so much, like so many other people, and Tracy Chapman’s version will always be the best. But Luke’s cover is very, very good. Not to mention he is bringing this excellent song to so many listeners for the very first time. Well done my App State brotha!
