Song of the Day: Sloop John B

Good Monday morning folks! Today’s song of the day is brought to you by The Beach Boys. “Sloop John B” is an old song that originated in Nassau in the early 20th century. The Beach Boys recorded a version of it in 1966 and released it on their album Pet Sounds, which was a huge success. To be honest, I wasn’t the biggest fan of this song when I first heard it, but it grew on me the more I heard it. I hope you enjoy it as well and have a great start to the new week!
