Song of the Day: Southern Star

Happy Friday folks! Today’s song is fresh off of the newly released album Southern Star by Brent Cobb. I have featured Brent before, but I really am digging this vibe in the song. To me, it has a perfect feel for the time of year, right before it starts getting really cold. Not to be confused with Alabama’s “Southern Star”…Brent Cobb’s “Southern Star” has a bluesy feel to it. Don’t get me wrong though, both songs kind of encompass the same meaning, it’s all about living under the southern star…the environment that every southeastern can relate to.
