Song of the Day: Wet Sand

Wet Sand by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Released in May of 2006 on the band’s Stadium Arcadium album. Wet Sand is definitely not one of the more well known songs by the band. It’s probably not even in the top 20 of their most popular songs but man is it a fantastic song. The song slowly builds with a good chorus, sweet little guitar riff and nice bass playing until the very end when Frusciante lays down a top-notch guitar solo, which is no surprise because everything Frusciante does is gold. A hidden gem of a song.
