Song of the Day: Castles Made of Sand

Castles Made of Sand by Jimi Hendrix. Released in the US 55 yrs ago in January on 1968. The song featured on Jimi Hendrix’s 2nd album Axis: Bold As Love. Like all Jimi Hendrix music, it features great guitar obviously, but I also think this song and the chorus in particular proves that Jimi Hendrix doesn’t get enough credit for having a pretty good voice too. All you hear about with Hendrix is his guitar playing, and rightfully so, but let’s not forget he could carry a tune and was the lead signer in his band as well.
