Song of the Day: Good Lovin'

Happy Monday morning everyone! If you’re a little slow moving so far because of it being a Monday, crank this song up a few notches and see if it gets you moving. This song was originally released in 1965 by The Olympics and did pretty well, reaching the 81st spot on the Billboard Pop Singles chart. But a year later it was recorded and released by a group called The Rascals and it then reached the top spot on the same Billboard list. It has been placed on several “greatest songs of all-time” lists, including the one from Rolling Stone magazine. It was also listed as one of the 500 songs that shaped rock n’ roll by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Of course, it has since been covered by numerous singers and bands, including the Grateful Dead, of which the song was pretty much a staple in all of their concerts. I hope everyone enjoys it and has a great day!
