Happy Friday and Happy November! Last month, I thought it would be neat to feature one of the most well-known composer’s…Pyotr Ilyich Tchaicovsky. Being that this is my first post for November, I am going to feature “Troika” or “November” according to The Seasons. I will admit, it has a “driving” feel to it, which is exactly what Troika translates to in Russian. A Troika is a driving harness for horses and usually it is for a sleigh. Also, with the NASCAR Championship coming up, these 2 things correlate. Troika was a symbol of speed in the Russian Empire. With December and Winter rapidly approaching, enjoy this classic version of Troika by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and have an awesome weekend!
