Song of the Day: Kind and Generous

This is one of those songs I’ve heard plenty of times throughout my life, but would never have been able to tell you the name of it or who sings it (Natalie Merchant), without looking it up. And the reason I looked it up, fans of The Office may remember, but it was featured in the final episode of Season 3 when Michael thinks he’s going to be promoted and is saying his goodbye to the office. The song was playing on his old-school tape recorder. It really is a good song, though, with a pretty catchy, “na na na, na na na na.” If you’re a big-time fan of the tv series, would you have been able to place that song in the series without me telling you?
