Song of the Day: Dinah

Happy Friday! Let’s go back to 1931 for “Dinah” by Bing Crosby. I heard this on SiriusXM 40s Junction and knew I had to share it. This version is by the well-known Bing Crosby and he is backed up by The Mills Brothers who were also known as the Four Kings of Harmony. It is hard to beat the old harmonizing songs and wow, The Mills Brothers were good at it. The song was actually first performed in 1925 by Jazz singer Ethel Waters, making it roughly 96 years old. To think that this song is nearly 100 years old is remarkable in itself. Another fun thing about this song is that apparently Dinah is from Carolina…I like to think North Carolina for our sake haha! Have a good one folks!
