Song of the Day: Sailing

Happy Friday folks! Today, we will start our day off with some smooth, soft rock by Christopher Cross and “Sailing”. Cross released the single in June of 1980 and in August…it hit #1 on the Billboard charts. The fact that it was nearly a 70s song is remarkable as it truly epitomizes that 80s sound. Christopher Cross seemed to produce a lot of mellow music, this one in particular is a has a great beach vibe to it. It is also pretty easy to tell that he had some great pipes hitting those notes!
