Song of the Day: Bang the Drum All Day

Happy Monday morning everyone! I figured this was a good song for today, being a Monday. Nobody really wants to go back to work to begin a new week, but it’s just a part of this magnificent life. To be honest, I did not know Todd Rundgren sang this song. I’ve been familiar with the song my entire life, but I guess I just never knew who sang it. Anyway, it’s a great song that not only portrays how most people feel about their job, but also has an upbeat tempo to it that helps get ya going on a Monday morning. And I can’t end this without saying how this song will forever remind me of Michael Scott in The Office singing, “I don’t want to work, I just want to bang on this mug all day.” I hope everyone has a great new week!
