WWE Power Rankings: Week of April 18th 2021

I didn’t do an article last week mainly because I was a little overwhelmed by the WrestleMania articles, but to be honest, I rarely ever send out a Power Rankings article after a PPV. The WWE is coming of a WrestleMania hangover and it was definitely feeling the effects all week long. Heck, the effects were strong last night on RAW, but that’s for next week. Some superstars were let go last week, but the biggest name was Samoa Joe. I’ve heard that he wasn’t cleared for action, but who knows why that let him go. I was most disappointed about them releasing Billie Kay and Peyton Royce. I really enjoyed their comedy and they should’ve never been broken up. I have no doubts that they can go elsewhere and prove the WWE wrong. The announce teams also were shaken up. Adnan Virk, formerly from ESPN and currently with MLB Network, was added to the RAW commentary desk and Pat McAfee was added to SmackDown. I could see McAfee being very successful on SmackDown and hopefully they let him be himself at the desk. Corey Graves was moved to RAW and Tom Phillips was moved to 205 Live. Hopefully everything works out with that. After a somewhat gruesome week of television, here are the Rankings for last week’s action.
