Just a quick, 2 minute, energetic song that John Lennon described as “just another one of my throwaways.” The song was released on the band’s 1966 album Revolver, which was the album that kicked off the band’s psychedelic period. While this song in particular didn’t hit the charts, of course the album itself hit number 1 in both the US and UK. The album is actually ranked 3rd on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of greatest albums of all time. Pretty good company for this throwaway song to be part of one of the best albums of all time.
