Song of the Day: Paranoid

Ohhhh yeah Black Sabbath! I don’t know about you, but this is my favorite Black Sabbath song and they had quite a few good ones. I’ve always liked Black Sabbath a lot better than Ozzy Osbourne on his own. They paved the way for metal music and big time metal bands to come later. This song is from the album with the same name and was released in 1970. It went all the way to #4 in the U.K. while only going to number 61 in the U.S. You can make the argument that was due to the fact they were ahead of their time. You hear this song and you definitely don’t picture it going all the way back to 1970. And also, I have to mention, this is included in the soundtrack of the greatest movie of all time, Dazed and Confused! Have a great Monday everyone.
