Song of the Day: Break On Through
Break On Through by The Doors. The opening track from the band’s self-titled debut album in 1967, Break On Through was also the first single released by The Doors. Despite it being one of the more popular songs by the band and would also be a concert staple for the band, Break On Through never made it on to the charts. Granted it gets some decent play time on classic rock radio stations still to this day. My biggest issue with the song is that it’s too short coming in at just under two and a half minutes.
