Song of the Day: Smokin' In The Boys Room

I heard this song on the radio the other day and every time I hear it, it takes me back to my favorite TV show King of the Hill. Lucky wasn’t one of the most liked characters on the show, but I think he was awesome and he was voiced by rock legend Tom Petty. In a Season 10 episode entitled, “Hank Fixes Everything”, one of the subplots of the show was Lucky waiting in line for a week by himself to get first dibs on tickets to the Brownsville Station reunion concert. He brings along Bobby and Luanne on the adventure too. This episode aired in 2006, but Brownsville Station actually did reunite in 2012. This song was basically their only hit and it reached number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1973. I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday.
