Song of the Day: Scar Tissue
Scar Tissue by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Scar Tissue was released on RHCP’s 1999 album, Californication. The song actually spent 16 weeks atop the US Billboard Alternative chart, which was a record at that point in time. The current record holder is an abomination to alternative music (Portugal The Man with his 2017 Feel It Still spent 20 weeks atop the chart). Scar Tissue would also go on to win a Grammy for best rock song in 2000. Still to this day Scar Tissue gets as much air time as any Red Hot Chili Pepper song.
