Song of the Day: Free Fallin' (John Mayer)

Happy Monday everyone! Today’s song of the day is Free Fallin’ by John Mayer and not the original by Tom Petty. First, I would like to say I am a big fan of both musicians. I absolutely love Tom Petty. And I’m also one of those people that think the original versions of songs are better than covers 95% of the time, or more. With all of that being said, I like this version of Free Fallin’ more. I love how John Mayer slows it down and plays it acoustically finger style. It makes it so raw and emotional. This is one of my favorite songs, let alone covers, of all time. I hope you enjoy it as well and have a great start to your brand new week. Take advantage of it!
