Song of the Day: Sirius

With half the country tuning in every Sunday night to watch the Michael Jordan/Chicago Bulls documentary “The Last Dance,” I thought I would dedicate Song of the Day to the Bulls. Not many people would say they’ve heard of this song if you just told them the name of it and the band, but they would instantly recognize it as soon as they heard it. “Sirius” is a sub-two minute song that opens up the Eye in the Sky album by the band The Alan Parsons Project, before seguing into the song “Eye in the Sky.” It is a very popular song played at live sporting events, most notably in Chicago when the Chicago Bulls lineup is introduced. And the reason why it is our Song of the Day, it is synonymous with Michael Jordan’s 6-time NBA Championship run during the 90s. Hey, maybe it will get us motivated to take on a Monday too!
