Song of the Day: Texas Flood

With all the rain that we’re getting, I figured this song was appropriate, minus the ‘Texas’ part. Maybe it’s raining in Texas too, I don’t know. But man, can Stevie Ray Vaughan make that guitar sing! There’s no doubt he’s one of the very best to ever pick up a guitar and the dude has some pipes too, especially for singing the blues. “Texas Flood” is one of my favorites from SRV and I can easily imagine just sitting on the front porch watching it pour down rain with this song in the background. That’s just what he does, he makes you feel his music. Doesn’t get much better!
