Song of the Day: Murder in the City

Today’s song of the day, Murder in the City, comes from them good ol’ boys from Concord, North Carolina, The Avett Brothers. If you like folk/alternative music, then you’ve obviously heard of the Avett Brothers and more than likely enjoy some of their music. To me they are definitely one of those bands that deserve to be more popular. They’ve been putting out and performing good music for over 10 years now. Had they come around in a different era like the 60’s when folk music was in the midst of a revival they’d for sure be a lot more mainstream. But hey maybe they enjoy being successful and still under the radar. Enjoy.
