Song of the Day: White Christmas (Cover)

Welcome to Christmas week everyone! Just four more days until the special day and it’s hard to believe. Today’s song of the day is the Christmas classic originally released by Irving Berlin for a musical film. It was then covered by Bing Crosby in 1941, which remains one of the most popular Christmas songs to this day. It has been covered by countless artists, including the Motown group, The Drifters. Their cover is extremely popular as well, and is the version played in the movie Home Alone. What I’m posting today can be considered a cover of a cover, as it’s a cover version of The Drifters’ cover. I’ve posted music from some of these guys before on this site because the YouTube channel they often appear on is Josh Turner’s (the guy playing guitar in the back left of the video), and his channel “Josh Turner Guitar” is one of my favorite channels on YouTube for the quality music they put out. And of course I really enjoyed their take on this song. It amazes me the guy on the keyboard can hit those high notes like that. I hope everyone enjoys it and has a great start to their Christmas week.
