WWE Power Rankings: Week of November 29th 2020

I am sorry the WWE Power Rankings are a little late this week. Last week’s action was solid, not awesome, but solid. in my personal opinion, SmackDown remains as the top show and I think that will be the case until WrestleMania. We’re just one week removed from Survivor Series and things are gearing towards TLC and in the case of NXT, WarGames. TLC this year feels like just a normal passthrough PPV, because it doesn’t seem like any of the big titles are going to change hands. Anyways, here are the rankings for last week’s action.

10: Bianca Belair

WWE

WWE

Despite not getting the win for SmackDown last Sunday night, Bianca Belair is the next big thing in the WWE. She picked up a nice win against the veteran Natalya on Friday night. I think she could be the favorite to win the Royal Rumble in January. We’ll see what happens in the next couple of months, but she is on the rise.

9: Candice LeRae

WWE

WWE

LeRae has seen a lot of action on NXT in the last few months and this week she had a pinball victory over Ember Moon. It is good seeing LeRae getting some good wins and the current storyline that she is in is great so far.

8: Riddle

WWE

WWE

Last week on RAW, there were 3 matches to determine the number one contender. They faced off in a triple threat on this Monday’s RAW and the winner was declared, but more on that next week. Riddle defeated Sheamus to move on to the triple threat match. The match was good and I kind of thought Riddle was going to win this week, but he didn’t.

7: Keith Lee

WWE

WWE

Lee defeated, the United States Champion, Bobby Lashley to advance on last week’s RAW. It was good to see Lashley and Lee matching up and it looks like we may be getting a title match pretty soon between these two.

6: AJ Styles

WWE

WWE

Styles and Orton clashed in the main event of RAW last week and Styles picked up the win. The match was another really good showing, but it just feels shortchanged in a TV setting. The Fiend popping up to distract Orton was an interesting twist and one that looks like will set up a future matchup. Styles will be ranked in next week’s rankings, but find out next week where he will be.

5: The New Day

WWE

WWE

The New Day put the titles on the line and the match was a little confusing, but it ended with a successful title defense. There was a weird double count out ruling in the middle of it, but the match restarted with The New Day getting the win. It was a weird way to book the match, when it could’ve just continued and I think it would’ve been seen as a lot better match in the end.

4: Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode

WWE

WWE

The Street Profits had a big win against The New Day at Survivor Series, but in their matchup this week, it was a different story. Roode and Ziggler picked up a big win against the tag champs and it appears that they will have match at TLC coming up. The Profits illustrious title reign could be put to the test, because some of us feel like their official reign never ended.

3: Pete Dunne

WWE

WWE

Pete Dunne hasn’t seen a lot of action in the last few months, but he did on Wednesday. He earned his team the WarGames advantage in the main event. He defeated Kyle O’Reilly in a ladder match and it appeared that Dunne hasn’t missed a beat. I have been a big fan of Pete Dunne ever since he made his WWE debut and I definitely feel like he is a WWE Championship contender in the future.

2: Alexa Bliss

WWE

WWE

There was a lot of unanswered question about Alexa Bliss and her ring approach with this new character. She defeated Nikki Cross last week and the match was fantastic. I may be ranking her a little high, but I enjoyed what she did last week. Not only that, I am interested to see what is next in her chapter as an associate of The Fiend.

1: Kevin Owens, Jey Uso, and Roman Reigns

WWE

WWE

It feels weird ranking all of these guys number one this week, but I really didn’t see another way around it. The all played a big part on Friday and with a DQ decision in the Uso/Owens main event, it felt right to put the all in the number one entry. If you’re in a feud with Roman Reigns at the moment, then you’re at the top of the WWE. His character development over the last couple of months has been historic and it feels like we’ll back on this time in 20 years and reflect on how good Roman’s heel run was. Things are going to get interesting in the next couple of weeks for sure.
