AEW Power Rankings: November 4th 2020

I didn’t get a chance to post last week’s AEW Power Rankings last week because a tropical storm knocked out our power for nearly 3 full days. This week’s episode of Dynamite was a solid go-home show just ahead of Full Gear on Saturday night. Here are my Rankings this week and I will put last week’s at the end.

5: Miro

Miro defeated Trent this week in convincing fashion. I think it is somewhat surprising that Miro isn’t on the Full Gear card, but since his debut, he hasn’t been featured in a big way. We’ll see how things play out, but for now, Miro is just going on a week-to-week basis.

4: Cody and The Gunn Club

Cody and The Gunn Club teamed up this week and defeated John Silver, Colt Cabana and 10 of The Dark Order. Cody’s promo on Darby Allin sold the segment though and I’m excited to see this match on Saturday.

3: The Young Bucks

The Bucks picked up a nice win abasing Private Party last night. They look to be in top form ahead of their title match with FTR. Vegas seems to think that FTR don’t have a great chance to retain because both teams have split odds at Full Gear. I personally think The Bucks will become new champs.

2: MJF and Wardlow

MJF and Wardlow defeated Ortiz and Sammy Guevara on Dynamite and things are heating up not only between MJF and Chris Jericho, but Matt Hardy and Guevara. It would’ve been interesting to see a Jericho and MJF alliance, but I understand that it doesn't really suit their styles.

1: Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston

Moxley and Kingston have had a good amount of time to build a big match for a PPV and this week got most fans wanting to see the match. Kingston has been in the Indies for 18 years and this will be the biggest match of his career. I don’t think anyone expects Moxley to drop the title, but I think most fans are excited to see the match.
