Out of the ashes of Nirvana came this band, the Foo Fighters. The Foo Fighters were formed by Nirvana drummer, Dave Grohl. Only this time he would be the lead singer and guitarist. Everlong appeared on their second album release in 1997, along with other popular songs on the album My Hero and Monkey Wrench. Not only have these songs stood the test of time but so have the Foo Fighters as they continue to tour and make music over 20 years later. Not many people can say they’ve been in 2 very successful bands, but Dave Grohl sure can.
