Song of the Day: Heat Wave

With much of the country dealing with a heat wave over the last week or so, I figured this would be an appropriate song choice. It’s performed by Martha and the Vandellas and was released in 1963. It reached the top spot on the Billboard R&B chart and #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It’s going to be another hot one today, but the good news is cooler weather is on the way and the rest of the week should feel nice.
