Song of the Day: Night Life

Today’s Song of the Day is in honor of the Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway today. This song is a Vegas themed song, by Elvis Presley, but it isn’t his most famous Vegas themed song. This song was on the album, Elvis Sings Flaming Star, which was officially released in October of 1968, but it wasn’t released worldwide until a few months later. It was his first budget album release, which is basically a small compilation album. “Night Life” was supposed to be on his “Viva Las Vegas” soundtrack album, but it did not make the final cut. I hope this short song puts you in the mood to watch some NASCAR today.
