Song of the Day: The Spirit of Christmas

We’re going Christmas today and I’m giving you a good one. “The Spirit of Christmas” by Ray Charles is in my top 3 Christmas songs of all time. If you’ve seen the movie Christmas vacation, then you’ve heard this song. It plays when Clark Griswold is stuck up in his attic and he is watching old family Christmas footage. I think the song is used so perfectly in the movie because when I listen to it, it makes me want to reminisce and think about all the special Christmases of my life. Ray Charles can absolutely sing and he gave us a gem with this song here. Give it a listen and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
