Our last article we fell just shy of bringing home some money, so let’s go for it again! I went with more of a balanced approach with the ten-game slate tonight, doing a true cash game lineup. Today I am going to break the players down by position and see how that goes.

Point Guard

Donovan Mitchell $7,200(v. CLE): Ricky Rubio could be out and that means more involvement with Mitchell for the Jazz. They are going up against Cleveland who are arguably the worst team in the league. They also allow opposing defenses to shoot 48%, which bodes well for Mitchell who takes 18 shots a game on average.

Terry Rozier $6,100 (v. DAL): I know this will be chalk, but Rozier is too good to pass up. He had 5 steals in his last game, and produce 39.25 DK points. His price has gone up, but even if he gets 30 points, he meets value. Always look at the number. Kyrie is out, and 30+ minutes for Rozier is money from a DFS perspective.

Shooting Guard

Brandon Ingram $6,800(v. NY): Kyle Kuzma did not participate in morning shootaround today, and if he cannot go…Ingram is automatic. His involvement has improved since LeBron has been out, and with Kuzma not being out there, Ingram is their main scoring option. He took 21 shots vs. OKC last time out, and look for that to go up, against a poor Knicks squad.

Zach LaVine $6,300(v. IND): I hate the matchup…but like the player. LaVine under $7K is insane. You get a natural-born scorer, who could drop 30 in a heartbeat. Justin Holliday is gone, and Markkanen has been struggling, so I just have a gut feeling about this one. Give me 35 DK points and I am happy.

Small Forward

Tobias Harris $7,100(v. PHO): This was another gut choice. Harris is too cheap here…the Clippers will dominate the Suns tonight. You get a guy who averages 36.9 DK points a game for this price?!?!?!? C’mon DraftKings!!! I see a double-double from Tobias tonight. He dropped 33 last time against Phoenix, and don’t be surprised to see that again.

Jayson Tatum $6,300(v. DAL): Tatum will see plenty of usage as Kyrie is out. Tatum performs well anyway despite injuries surrounding him, and I can see him making more of an impact scoring-wise tonight. Hayward went bananas last game, I think it is Tatum’s turn in this game.

Power Forward

Noah Vonleh $6,500(v. LAL): I have Vonleh on here simply because I think that the Lakers will be taking a lot of shots, which leaves rebounding potential. I did not select Vonleh in my personal lineup, but I think he will perform close to his EV. Lonzo Ball will probably miss enough shots for Vonleh to get a double-double.

JaMychal Green $4,000 (v. BKN): Green is a sneaky good scorer, and with Conley potentially being out, the Grizzlies will need some help. Green will come off the bench and add some three-point shooting potential, and relieve Jaren Jackson when he gets in foul trouble. He is my sneaky choice of the night, not too risky, not too bold.

Center

Tristan Thompson $5,900(v. UTA): Mitchell and Co. will take a lot of shots, right? Thompson will be there to rebound them. This was the sole reason why I chose Thompson over Vonleh…price. He is cheaper and Thompson was balling prior to his injury.
