Song of the Day : California Dreamin'

I’ve always considered this the ultimate hippie song. This song is by The Mamas and the Papas and represents the longing to move out West during the counterculture movement in America (this song was released in 1965). On Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 greatest songs of all-time, “California Dreamin’” comes in at #89.
