What's up Sports Chief Family, Today we will review my predictions for the Superbowl champs. This weekend was full of exciting games... and there were 4 winnings moving on to the division championships. We had Patriots awaken and remind the world that Tom "Shady" Brady is still a force to be reconded with defeating Philip Rivers and the Chargers 41-28. Patrick Mahomes continued to impress watching with pinpoint precision passing complemented by speeders Tyreek Hill in the absents of their all-star running back Kareem Hunt ( released earlier this year). The Chiefs dominated Andrew Luck and the Colts 31-13. I know I'm not alone on this, but I thought this game would be much hiring scoring, but the Chiefs defense had other plans. The Rams took down America's team the Dallas Cowboys 30-22 as difference maker CJ Anderson exploded on the Dallas defense. I know Panthers Fan are salty as HELL they let him go, but hindsight is always 20/20... Look for the Cowboys to start making more noise from here on out ( as long as we get rid of Jason Garrett.. but that's another post). The last game was Drew Brees taking out the defending champion Eagles 20-14 is a close game as Nick Foles pass went through the hands of Alshon Jeffreys and was intercepted by Marshon Lattimore. For me, this was a win, As division mates, I can't stand the Eagles and it felt good for them to take a loss against a great Saints team that the Dallas Cowboys was able to beat! Looking forward, let's make some predictions about the division championships. Saint Vs. Rams, look for the Rams to take the NFC. The Rams have a solid offense and their defense matches up well against a Powerful Saints offense that was exposed by the Dallas Cowboys Defense. Look for the Rams to get a lot of pressure up from on Drew Brees and slow down the Saints offensive ability. Next look for the Chiefs to take out the Patriots. Patrick Mahomes is one of the if not the most Athletic quarterbacks in the NFL. Although he suffered a knee injury against the Colts he can still make big plays happen all day with his arm. He has an arsenal of receivers able to beat the Patriots secondary and their defense is playing on another level. I'm predicting a rematch of the matchup earlier this year where the Rams won 54-51. In this matchup I predict the Chiefs to win and take super bowl 53. It's extremely tough to beat a team twice in one year and the way the chiefs are playing.. they will win! Remember I said it and if you think differently let The Sports Chief know on twitter @thesportschief. We love to hear what you all think!
